Straight out of the crazy streets of Tokyo emerges an epic brand known as ROCKSMITH. For those who aren't familiar, Rocksmith has been killing it in terms of design and quality cut & sew pieces. Karmaloop has just received their first shipment of the Spring line, and phew, I am not disappointed. One of the more steezy pieces in the collection is the New Allante Vest, which features retro-inspired colors as well as a fully reversible body. As usual, if you sleep on this now - you will regret this later!

There's a new little robot dominating our future! The Sega Toys has recently announced its newest gadget, X the Mu-Bot, at the 2006 Tokoyo Toy Show . This simple but cute robot has retractable arms which act as earbuds for your iPod, pulling easily in and out for a convenient, no hassle, and tangle free little accessory to accompany your music player. Sega plans to release the robot around December, which will be available in assorted colors for approximately $21.

New York-based jeweler Gabriel Urist showcased a few soon to be release projects at Capsule, including a collaboration with adidas that will be launch on a later, yet to be determine date. More on that later… One other project that will be release in a couple of weeks is a collaboration between Urist and NBA.

adidas REMIX has teamed up with New York City-based jeweler, Gabriel Urist, to construct an unique Team Signature Pro Model for the upcoming NBA All-Star Weekend taking place in the city of New Orleans.
By the utilization of neutral palettes with gold accents, wood-grain like sole trim, and an Asian influenced print on satin ankle collar. Gabriel Urist’s associate, Rahn Johnson stated “We wanted to speak to the basketball consumer who appreciates aesthetics and pays attention to detail. Our goal was to create a luxury performance shoe without being too excessive. The concept features elements that range from the interior of a Bentley Continental to a 20th century Asian inspired print.” In addition, Urist incorporated embroidered letters on “GU” near the rear and a pair of gold lace clips of “love” and “war” to each shoe, hence Urist’s perception of the game. All of these on top of a perforated leather with mesh insets for breathability and gum-sole for grip on the court.

Urist known for his work in the past with various Nike shoes molded into stylish necklaces uses the same technique and craftsmanship to mold his collaborative adidas TS Pro Model into a piece of jewelery that will be available in three different colors, including Vermeil, Black Rhodium and Sterling Silver. The Burgundy/Black colorway of the shoe matches the interior of the store with gold threading and gold highlights representing the opulent décor of the store. One in gold and one in silver, with the silver representing the actual mock ‘Bank Vault’ door within the store that is a secret chamber of some of the most limited, rare and sought after sneakers ever produced. Even the shoe box takes inspiration from this ‘Bank Vault’ with its metallic silver finish and the combination lock reminds you that you are purchasing a very exclusive and valuable product. The inner lining of the box is draped with maroon velvet similar to the walls that adorn the store.
